Maple Backup is a free browser extension. By installing or using it, you agree to these terms.
Maple Backup automatically creates local, point-in-time backups of your browser bookmarks, lets you view and restore past backups, and can optionally mirror backups to your own Google Drive. It is provided free of charge, with no account, subscription, or payment of any kind.
Your bookmarks and backup history belong to you and stay on your own device unless you explicitly turn on Cloud Backup, in which case copies are written only to your own Google Drive — never to a server we operate. See the Privacy Policy for full detail on what the extension accesses.
Maple Backup is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. While it's built to back up your bookmarks reliably, we don't guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any particular backup will always succeed — for example, a scheduled backup can be skipped if your browser is closed, and a Google Drive upload can fail if your network or Google Drive itself is unavailable. Keep this in mind for anything you can't afford to lose, the same as with any backup tool.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any loss of bookmarks or data, or any other damages, arising from your use of this extension.
Don't use Maple Backup for anything unlawful, or in a way that attempts to disrupt, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or abuse the extension or the services (such as Google Drive) it connects to.
We may update the extension or these terms over time. If these terms change, the "Last updated" date above will be revised. Continuing to use the extension after a change means you accept the updated terms.
You can stop using Maple Backup at any time by disconnecting Google Drive (if connected) and uninstalling the extension from your browser.
